You can always count on Sephora to bring in new and incredibly cute lines like their newest addition, tokidoki. Artist, Simone Legno is the driving force behind the line - the creation of which has given him a completely new way to express his characters and their universe - and doing it as a Sephora exclusive makes perfect sense to him as he feels they understand the relationship between fun, creativity, self-expression and colour unlike any other retailer. And is his line fun! You don't have to look hard to see Legno's passion for Japanese culture and the punk scene. I love that the characters have names and backstories and my favourite is the Moofia - a gang of cows assembled to extort milk from the lunchboxes of school bullies and give it to the good kids so they will grow up strong and healthy so they can protect themselves - wonderfully twisted! And make no mistake, it's cute as hell but this ain't no kiddie makeup! The pigments are vibrant, strong and long wearing and the texture is as good as any high end makeup I've ever tried!

My favourite items so far are the Cromatico eyeshadow singles in the adorable heart and crossbones cases, the Fantastico Lip Stain and the Brillante Glitter Eyeliner! I have spent many a lunch hour playing with the line at Sephora and you totally need to go check it out!
Toronto ladies are super lucky - next Thursday you can stop by the Toronto Eaton Centre Sephora between 6-8pm and meet tokidoki creator, Simone Legno, have a complimentary makeover and if you are one of the first 200 clients to make a purchase of $25 or more of any tokidoki product, you will receive a free frenzie of your choice!

The kabuki brush in this collection is really great! I only picked it up in the first place because it's purple, but it works so well. :)

You don't know how wonderful it is to know that other people buy stuff because of the colour!
