Eye Love Wednesday - gel liners don't need to be expensive thanks to Annabelle, Maybelline, Avon and Revlon!

It used to be that if you wanted a gel eyeliner, you had to fork out big money for one as only the high end lines carried them. Thankfully, that's no longer an issue as there are now lots of drugstore options for all of your gel lining needs - here are a few worth checking out:

Annabelle Smudge Paint - $10.99 - in Muddy Brown, Skyline, Tar, Plummed and Sludge - with just the cleverest design, the brush fits right into the cap which solves the whole messy brush storage issue! I really like the consistency of the liner as well as the pigmentation and I even like the brush so there is no need to use my own!
Maybelline EyeStudio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner - $10.99 - in Blackest Black, Brown, Charcoal and Eggplant - with 24 hour wear and intense colour, each liner comes with a brush but I'd recommend using your own, I find it kind of flimsy. Other than that, this is a great liner with excellent pigmentation!
Avon SuperShock Eye Liner - $7.99 - in four metallic shimmer shades: Flashy Brown, Blackened Metal, Metallic Teal and Burnished Copper - to apply, coat tip of liner brush in gel then hold close to lash line and dab or sweep across for a clean line - can be layered for even more intense colour.
Ergonomic Eyeliner Brush - $7.99 - the flat design makes lining easy while the stand up design makes it easy to store. Available from your Avon rep - 1-800-265-AVON or online at www.avon.ca
Revlon Colorstay Gel Liner - $11.99 - come in black, brown, grey and purple - these are brand new, just spied them hanging on a Revlon display and they appear to pretty much be a knockoff of the Annabelle Smudge Paints but I haven't actually tried them so I have no idea what the quality is like. 1. I have tried the maybelline ones and did not like them one bit although I thought the brush it came with is amazing for gel liner. I'm very intrigued by the Avon ones, they look great, might have to try those out soon

  3. Afraid you can't Bella, you'll have to find a nice Canadian friend to buy it for you!
