Mascara Monday - Maybelline Volum'Express Mega Plush

Maybelline Volum'Express Mega Plush - $8.99 - promises massive supple lashes that are flake free and never brittle with a new revolutionary gel-mousse formula which contains 40% less hard waxes than mascaras normally contain for a soft, creamy and flexible feel. As well, it has a nifty brush with an extra soft flexor that moves and caresses lashes for the ultimate comfort in application.
I made the mistake of waiting for the first coat to dry before applying the second coat on my left eye here...
I had a lot better luck getting volume without it looking spiderish by applying the second coat immediately rather than waiting as you can see on the right eye.
A nice amount of volume without it being hard of flaky, I'll agree with, I don't know that I would call it "massive" volume but it's certainly enough for my purposes!

    Looks good! I hate it when I leave it too long and try to apply it again and it's all dry already haha... it always looks weird! But on your other eye it looks great! :)

    Is this new? I don't think I've seen it before... my HG is the Volum' Express Turbo Boost but I wonder if this might be better? I hated The Falsies though so I'm always wary of testing out different mascaras when I've already got one I like.
