prepares lashes for a second coat without clogging - Step 2 has a fully
loaded brush to coat your lashes to boost and build maximum volume with
no clumps.
The left side lashes have 1 coat of Step 1...
The right side lashes have 1 coat of Step 1 followed by a coat of Step 2 - I didn't add Step 2 to the left side because I learnt with my last 2 step mascara that you can't add the second step to dry lashes or you end up with a clumpy mess!
Even on the side with both steps it is not the least bit clumpy - Since I like my mascara more subtle, I would probably just wear Step 1 during the day but the Step 2 is a great evening option for me!
