I always use a primer because otherwise my foundation totally disappears - I have speculated previously that I have a giant ball of foundation located somewhere inside my body. I've only ever tried a neutral primer up to know so I was very curious to try a coloured one and choose blue hoping it would like up to it's claim to make me porcelain rather then smurf-like - and it really did add a clear, porcelain-like finish to my skin - it didn't make me paler, just made the light tone look more refined, even and so pretty - if you have fair skin and want to be a porcelain-princess, I highly recommend!
