Contact lens wearers can get maximum protection with UV-blocking contact lenses worn in
conjunction with high-quality UV-blocking sunglasses and a wide-brimmed hat. It
is important to note that although UV-blocking contact lenses provide important
added protection, they should not be viewed as a stand-alone
solution.
Acuvue Oasys Contact Lenses offers the
highest level of UV blocking available, blocking at least 90 percent of UV-A
rays and 99 percent of UV-B rays that reach the lens. For those who prefer the
option of a daily disposable contact lens, 1-DAY Acuvue Moist Contact
Lenses block on average 82 percent of UVA and 97 percent of UVB rays.
Contact lens wearers will also be interested to know about a new free service from Acuvue - the Acuminder Tool which sends out an automatic e-mail reminder on when to change contact
lenses, when to buy new contacts, when to replace their contact lens case, and
when to schedule an eye exam. As well, The Acuminder Tool also offers
access to contact lens tips, videos, and other informational resources, and is
compatible with virtually all mobile applications, including iPad, iPhone, iPod, and Android
devices. Registration is open to all
contact lens wearers at www.acuvue.ca/home-acuminder
and a free App can be downloaded via the
Apple App Store and Google Play. The
service is available in both English and French.

The Clarins product sounds very useful. I'm surprised there aren't more daytime eye creams with high SPF in them.
