I personally find the foam much easier to apply then a lotion and it dries quicker but whichever kind you use, do yourself a favour and use the application mitt - it only costs $8.99 and makes it much easier to apply - as an added bonus it saves me from the patchy coloured hands I always end up with because I don't wash it off properly!
