Sleek MakeUP has released a limited edition Caribbean Collection which I was instantly drawn to because of the vibrant colours in it, not to mention how affordable it is! Now I'm always pretty skeptical of eyeshadow that is this inexpensive as cheap usually equals lack of pigmentation so I was amazed to discover just how much colour this palette delivers!
Curacao I-Divine Eyeshadow Palette - $10.50 - what can I say - these colours are all just so pretty and intense - if you aren't brave enough to wear as a shadow, they make a killer eyeliner!
Aruba Blush - $6.50 - I will have a cheek swatch of this coming up - I'm still working on my application technique for it, it's incredibly saturated!
Bonaire Pout Polish - $7.80 - a tinted balm that is enriched with Jojoba, Avocado and Sweet Almond Oil and has an SPF 15 - it looks super orange in the pot but is very wearable and is a great way to embrace the orange trend!
It will actually cost more for delivery ($13.50) to Canada then any piece in this collection!

I wasn't kidding about the pigmentation, was I? You know how I feel about swatches on my arm (no likee) but luckily my lovely friend Viola at Killer Colors was kind enough to let me use her swatch pics - you can see she has a lovely arm! Délice de Soleil Bronzing Spray - $26 - in #12 Fair/Medium or #14 Olive/Tanned - a spray powder to give you a perfect, natural looking and even tan. Contains cocoa beans for radiance and orange blossom extract for its hydrating properties.  You aren't supposed to have to blend it after spraying but I have yet to find the technique to prevent having to do so - I use my hand but you can also use a brush if you prefer.

Absolutely Shore - needs 3 coats to cover and is a shimmer-free pale minty green.

Smooth Sailing - this gorgeous blue has a shimmer to it that's easier to see in the bottle then on my fingers!

Essie Braziliant, Too Too Hot and Meet Me at Sunset swatches!

The Essie 2011 Summer collection Braziliant is totally up my alley!  Lot's of hot sizzling colours with a couple of cooler and subtler ones to offset them! Today I'm focused on the hot!

Meet Me At Sunset - intense orange

Braziliant - blazing orange with sparkles - the picture does not do justice to just how pretty this colour is, I was a little disappointed that it didn't look as shimmery on my nails as it did it the bottle but I am still going to have to proclaim Braziliant my favourite colour of the summer (so far of course)!

Too Too Hot - reddish coral

It's unusual for me to love every colour in a collection, but that is the case with Braziliant so tune in next week, same bat-time, same bat-channel for the other 3 swatches.

NARS Summer 2011 - Wonder Lip Gloss and Mayflower Lipstick swatches!

The NARS Summer 2011 collection has much to love about it - especially the LE lip products!

Wonder Lip Gloss- mandarin orange with pink and gold glitter - if the idea of glitter scares you, don't worry, it's not that obvious on, I found most of it when I was taking it off!  This gloss is a nice way to embrace the orange lip trend without too much commitment.

Mayflower Lipstick - sheer raspberry - very shiny without a lot of colour - I really like the way this one feels!

The name of the fragrance says it all really - mark. Ibiza Sol instant vacation fragrance mist - 50ml - $20 - a marine floral fragrance with notes of honeysuckle, pear, white geranium and musk. I am quite enamored of this scent except it just doesn't seem to last on me at all! I understand it's a mist so I wasn't expecting it to have the staying power of an EDP or even an EDT, but it doesn't even seem to last as long as my other mists do - I don't know if it's the same for everyone or just something weird that my body chemistry is doing to it - I wish they had come out with a body lotion in this scent so I could layer the scents for more staying power!
