I've been hanging around my husband too much because I didn't actually read the directions before I tried it and just assumed that long = length and short = volume and then couldn't understand it why the long setting was adding so much more product to my lashes...
On the left is the compact setting and it does add great length and definition.
The right is the extended setting and I will confess this is after a little work with my lash comb because it was little bit clumpier then I expected because I thought I was using the length setting and wasn't careful!
The volume setting is a little bit heavier but I don't see a lot of difference between the two and nobody asked me why I was walking around with 2 different mascaras on my eyes that day. I do love the length and definition this mascara offers so I'll give it a thumbs up!
