Avon Extra Lasting Lip Stain + Balm - $12 - in 8 shades: Exposed, Heart, Lively, Raspberry, Ready Red, Rose, Tango and Berry Bitten - that offers the perfect combo of stay-put, buildable colour and a moisturizing balm. I have always used a lip balm over stains so I appreciate that there is one right there on the other end of the tube - I like to reapply the balm throughout the day so the only issue I can see arising is that I will run out of the balm before I do the stain!

Sephora Rouge Infusion Lip Stain - $18 - in 12 shades: Beige Extract, Pink Essence, Magenta Stain, Fuchsia Concentrate, Coral Extract, Strawberry Tint, Tangerine Stain, Orange Elixir, Red Essence, Ruby Extract, Cherry Nectar and Plum Concentrate. This one has some moisture to it, and a bit of shine which I like!

Revlon Colorstay Moisture Stain

without stickiness. Eventually, the glossy top layer
