I personally love a palette, it takes the guess work out of which products go with which and I am digging the shade combos in both of these! Only thing I would have done differently if I had designed them is put some sort of cover over the lip products so that the powder doesn't migrate into them, there's nothing worse then eyeshadowy lipstick!
