It does a lovely job making everything smooth and lovely so most of the time I say to go ahead and use an oil - even one meant for the body - anywhere you want including the face - this one I wouldn't though - body, hands, even hair it's great but there is something about the dry texture that I just don't like on my face. I didn't find it soaked in as much as I would want a face oil to in order to apply makeup over it so I am keeping this one to use strictly below the neck!
