Mascara Monday - Artdeco Scandalous Lashes Mascara

Artdeco Scandalous Lashes Mascara - $29 - offers an unforgettable "wow" effect - full, expressive, perfectly defined eyelashes with seductive curl.

With an extreme black formula that adds volume, length and curl with a fixing texture that guarantees an even coating from root to tip. The special combination of waxes makes it pleasantly creamy, thickens the lash line and keeps it supple.

I really love the ultra-black colour - it's a really dramatic effect - but I did find the brush a little difficult to work with - it's really big and I kept knocking it against my skin, especially when applying to my bottom lashes!

As we move from summer into fall there is no need to sacrifice that summer glow - even if you can't get it naturally it's easy to fake it with:

Artdeco Sun Blusher - $34 - delivers height-of-summer radiance with three shades - a bronzer, blush and highlighter, each with a slight shimmer that combine to make cheeks radiant. With a light texture and mineral sericite formula that is paraben, fragrance, lanolin and mineral oil free. And of course if nothing else, you have to love the packaging with a sun design in the powder that is echoed on the case!

Eye Love Wednesday - Artdeco Most Wanted Eyeshadow Palette

Artdeco Most Wanted Eyeshadow Palette - $29 - in 3 shades each including 12 professionally coordinated colours: No 2 Smokey - combines intense black, smoky gray and vibrant ink hues; No 4 Nude - with subtle matte and softly shimmering shades of braown, gray and pink; and No 7 Brown - with warm bronze tones, sensual copper shades and soft beige in light to dark nuances - to match the full spectrum of eye colours and highlight the individual beauty of every woman.

There's a lot to like about these palettes: the colour payoff is impressive and they blend well - and go ahead and use them wet if you want to go deeper or use as a liner - the box didn't say I couldn't so I took that as explicit permission to go ahead and do it! They're also great if you like to travel with a lot of shadow options but lack the space - it's very portable. My only complaint is the cardboard packaging - I have to be careful I'm putting it down in a dry spot so as not to wreck it!

Mascara Monday - Artdeco Extreme Volume Mascara

Mascara Monday - Artdeco All In One Mascara in Blue Violet

Artdeco All In One Mascara in a fun Blue Violet shade from the Love Is In The Air Spring/Summer Collection - $22 - provides perfect lash styling with maximum volume, visual extension and great curl.

Two lash brushes in one are supposed to supply your lashes with more volume and separation at the same time - separation and length is good but there wasn't much in the way of volume.

When I tried to force volume on the right hand eye with an extra coat it just started to clump.

With a long lasting formula that includes carnauba wax to nourish the lashes and maintain their flexibility.

I thought the blue violet colour sounded fun but as you can see it shows up very little on the lashes so don't be scared off if you aren't into colour!
