Schick Hydro Silk wants to know who inspires you - so come share!

Schick Hydro Silk Canada is organizing an online gallery that recognizes the women in our lives that inspire us - from caring for a sick friend to building a home for those in need, inspiration comes from people who put forth the effort to take strides both big and small. 

In recognition of the women in our lives who inspire us and make our world a better place, Schick Hydro Silk is inviting Canadians to showcase their heroines in an online gallery called Taking Strides, Sharing Stories - going live on May 22nd.

Schick will also be giving you ways to win and engage with the brand by hosting a Twitter party on May 29 from 9pm - 10pm and a month long Twitter contest from June 2-27 - @HydroSilkCA 

The exhibit doesn't start until May 22nd but Beauty Crazed readers will be the first to be featured in the exhibition and share what strides you've made yourself or submit someone you admire by leaving your story in the comments section and your story will automatically be transferred to the online gallery when it goes live!

Test driving Schick Hydro Silk Razor - results and prize winner!

Apparently plenty of you were sick of shaving irritation - judging by how fast we gave away 100 Schick Hydro Silk razors in our giveaway in January! As a matter of fact, they went so fast that Schick took pity on us and all of the e-mails we were still getting and offered up another 100 to our hairy, greedy readers!

So 200 razors later, of course we are very curious to know what our testers thought of their new Schick Hydro Silk razor -

In general most of you:
like the moisturizing water-activated serum
like the handle shape and feel
like how easily it glides and navigates
like how close and comfortable the shave is
like how it only takes one pass to remove hair
like how there are no nicks or razor burn
like how smooth their legs feel afterwards

To get a better shave your suggestions are:

not to use too much pressure
not to use the razor if your hands are slippery
not to let your husband get his hands on it or you will never see it again

And we had some total differences of opinion:
most had no irritation while some of you had slight irritation
some of you found it easy to clean while others found it difficult to clear the blades of hair

Overall it's a positive result with only 5 of you preferring your usual razor over this one and 10 of you complaining about the refill price.

The rest of you like, loved and/or are already planning to repurchase the Schick Hydro Silk!
