Get styled to surprise with Penningtons for the holidays!

I'm proud to say that I finished my Christmas shopping this week and the last present I had to pick up was a sweater for a plus sized friend. After attending the Penningtons event back in the fall, I was pretty sure that I would find something nice for her there and again I was really impressed at all the stylish pieces that were available, I must admit I was disappointed that some of them didn't come in my size! This is the sweater I picked up and following are a few other pieces that caught my eye.

Think you know Mark's? Think Again! Contest and Event!

As much as I love the idea of high fashion-fashion, realistically my everyday life is more about comfortable, affordable clothes that look stylish and wear well. La Perla released this beautiful fall/winter 12 look book: as usual this collection is sensual, classic and sophisticated. Some of the bras are definitely for small chests, but they are so pretty to look at!

Stella McCartney Bridal Lingerie: Is it Naughty enough?

Some people call Stella McCartney's designs effortless, I often call them understated and when I'm really cranky: dull. This lingerie collection is cute enough but it doesn't scream bridal to me. Bridal should be about great support (to keep everything in its place under that wedding gown) and sass...not sure this collection 2011 fulfills the brief.

Z Spoke by Zac Posen: Affordable Sophistication?

Z Spoke is Zac Posen's latest fashion baby: a line aimed to his youngest clients. This Fall 2011 collection is fun, flirty and a little retro. It's more affordable than Zac Posen's main line but don't expect discount prices just yet! I definitely prefer this Fall collection to the spring one... so keep it up!

I came across this gorgeous look book from the British Made by Niki.  This lingerie is risqué but never vulgar. You could even do your own little burlesque show with these designs!
