30 Days of BCA - Day 27 - Cancer Apparel F*CK Breast Cancer Shirt

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month when all our favourite brands will be coming out with special edition products that in some way, will benefit charities associated with the disease.

A great thing all on its own - add in that many of the products will be pink and you've got something well worth talking about!

Official NHL merchandise comes to The Shopping Channel!

The Shopping Channel is helping kick off the 2014/15 hockey season by offering a stylish selection of official NHL merchandise. With everything from clothing to collectibles to unique accessories, there is something for every hockey fan!

I'm happy to see that they have regular women's jerseys and have my eye on the - NHL Ottawa Senators Reebok Premier Ladies Red Jersey - $109.99 - and comes in Small, Medium and Large. When I bought my Senators jersey many years back I ended up having to buy a boy's one because a woman's one didn't seem to exist except in pink (I like pink but not for a hockey jersey for heaven's sake) and the men's ones were all too big. The boy's version doesn't fit right of course because boy's don't have boobs so it looks very boxy on me - so I am thrilled that there is now an easy place to find all of my Senators gear! 

I understand that they have all the other teams stuff too but I don't know why you would want that...

Kate Moss Topshop Spring/Summer 2014 Collection

Kate Moss and Topshop are excited to soon be launching their spring/summer 2014 collection, an eclectic mix of pieces encapsulating the British fashion icon's unique and revered vintage style.  

Key design categories for this collection begin with Balearic Dressing, a reflection of Kate's love for the Balearic Islands comes a series of carefully embroidered smock-tops; silk blouses and a white kaftan that is based on a vintage find she wears every summer. The bold Aztecs dress has a handmade feel and the heavily embroidered crochet lace dresses, which either skim the thigh or the ankle, are available in cream or black. 

Pajama Dressing adds a totally new element to the Kate Moss Topshop range. Silk satin sourced in London's Soho carries two distinct prints: a subtle, distorted floral design and a vivid Oriental-inspired flower pattern. Both prints will be available in high-waisted trousers, blouses and an ultimate pajama coat. 

Cocktail Hour is flirtatious and sexy with hemlines either slashed at the thigh or falling to the floor. The intentional vintage effects, opulent trims and detailing such as cobweb beadwork, sequin bead fringing and crepe satin splicing, all provide a delicate and deluxe element to the designs. 

Tailoring Noir introduces a beautiful selection of tailoring including tuxes and trouser suits in black and black gold metallic mixes, a bias cut liquid metallic lame dress and lame floral printed shirts - offering a chic, smart alternative to dressing up for a summer evening.

Kate's growing up as a designer is reflected in this more premium collection with the use of luxurious fabrics, including silk chiffons sourced in London Soho, gold lame from Italy and intricate lace from India. Also upping the luxury quota is the meticulous attention spent on trimmings and details, including hand stitching and beading.

You're gonna want to check out the Sears Fall 2013 Look! report with Nevada featuring Bar Refaeli...

If you've picked up the Sears Fall 2013 Look! report you'll already have seen the lovely Bar Refaeli gracing the cover - who was also in town lately to launch the Nevada line that she is the face of! Sadly, I wasn't able to attend the event - although tall, glamourous supermodels do prefer that us short little things stay away from them as we make them feel all big and gawky so it's probably just as well that I wasn't there - nothing worse then a jealous supermodel!

Sears was kind enough to invite me to the store and check out the new offerings from the Look! report in person and see what I would choose for myself if I had $100 to spend. To be honest when they offered I thought it would be hard, Sears is not where I think of when I'm looking for trendy and fashionable clothes. If you have similar feelings then you will probably be as surprised as I was to see the new collection - was I able to spend a hundred bucks? Easily!

The first thing I was drawn to was this Pencil Skirt - $49.99 - it comes in 4 patterns and I couldn't decide between the check and the animal print but finally decided I couldn't go wrong with animal print!

The other peice I fell in love with is this Jacquard Wrap Sweater - $69.99 which is so cozy that it will even keep me warm in the meat locker temperatures that they insist on keeping my office at -while still looking cute!

You'll probably also notice a change in the footwear thanks to their collaboration with the Aldo Group's team of designers - so many boots to choose from!
