Avon Every Penny Counts and a Purse to keep them in!

For the second year in a row, Avon Canada in partnership with Scotiabank is asking Canadians to roll their pennies for the cause. Last year the program raised over $210,000 or 2,000,000 pennies to benefit Willow Breast Cancer Support Canada and they are hoping to do even better this year!

There are a couple of ways to participate:

Drop off rolled coins at any Scotiabank branch across Canada and make a donation to Account #80002 06366 14 - pink coin wrappers are once again available online for download at avoneverypennycounts.ca and willow.org websites. Since the penny is going out of circulation this year, this is the perfect way to unload them and you can feel good about the fact that 100% of the funds donated go directly to Willow Breast Cancer Support Canada!

Or you can team up for the cause and start your own penny campaign with your friends and family! Just visit avoneverypennycounts.ca, click on "register" and follow the instructions to build a team! Don't like other people? Me neither! Feel free to register as an individual or make an online donation. While there you can create a personalized fundraising page and keep track of your progress and invite friends to visit the page and make a donation online.
