I was in for a Microdermabrasion session with Annie the other day and if you aren't a fan of the procedure because you find it uncomfortable, be sure and go to see her, she has a very deft touch with the machine. I find that many technicians press too hard which makes it feel like the device is about to suck your face off, but Annie seemed to know just the right amount of pressure to use - she was also very neat, I didn't walk out with diamond crystals in my hair, ears or bra! I also like how obliging she was, when I said that I preferred manual extractions to mechanical way they normally do it she was happy to do it the way I wanted.
The spa uses the Vagheggi line from Italy which I was not at all familiar with but is really nice - made with plant extracts and essential oils so it has that lovely spa-like scent!
My only complaint was that they did not require me to change into a robe or in fact, take any clothes off at all and when I asked if I should, I was assured that my shirt would remain dry - it didn't so I would highly recommend you changing into a robe and save yourself walking out with a wet shirt!
On your way out be sure to take a look at the Indian jewelery on display, it's dazzling!
