Fragrant Friday - The AERIN Fragrance Collection

AERIN has released a new wardrobe of fragrances based on emotion, lifestyle and aspiration - with each of the five fragrances telling it's own story.

The AERIN Fragrance Collection - 50ml EDP - $125

Gardenia Rattan - captures the spirit of summer with sparkling wet marine notes, a gentle blend of white flowers including gardenia, tuberose and tiare tahiti and the rich texture of amber.

Amber Musk - is all about a cozy moment and a scent your want to wrap yourself inside on a cold winter day with notes of velvety ambrox, succulent coconut water, feminine rose centifolia absolute and the warmth of benzoin and musk.

Lilac Path - inspired by the lilac bushes that bloom in spring with evocative notes of lilac, luch fragrant galbanum, creamy jasmine lactones, soft angelica seed oil and orange flower.

Ikat Jasmine - the essence of casual chic, meant to represent the modern, feminine women with notes of jasmine sambac, jasmine Egypt infusion, exotic tuberose fleur, delicate honeysuckle, tuberrose infusion and sandalwood.

Evening Rose - for a stong and assertive, yet feminine women with notes of juicy blackberry, rich cognac, voluptuos rose centifolia, Bulgarian rose absolute and sensuous incense.

The only one I've actually smelled myself is the Gardenia and since I'm not a floral fan I passed it on to my friend Sara who loooooves gardenia and who gave it her stamp of approval - here's what she had to say: "a lot of gardenia scents smell fake, which gives them that grandma's powder room smell - this one smells like a freshly picked bouquet of flowers while the added amber notes gives it some depth and keeps it from smelling too girly."

Whether I like the scent or not, I'm a big fan of the packaging - sleek modern looking glass bottles with beautiful jewel-like stone caps that give them a touch of vintage prettiness and the perfect ornament for a dressing table!

Available at Holt Renfrew Toronto Bloor Street, Yorkdale, Calgary, Vancouver and online at www.esteelauder.ca.
