Mascara Monday - Deca Mascara

I've been trying out some of the products in the new Deca Professional Cosmetics line that I introduced you to a couple weeks ago, and I have to say so far one of my favourites is the:


Deca Mascara - $17.50 - with a creamy base that conditions lashes and offers a smooth even application that is gentle enough even for sensitive eyes - comes in black, black/brown and brown

It has a good sized bristle brush and a very smooth formula that goes on easily without clumping.

And adds volume and length with very little effort. It's not the most volumizing or lengthening mascara I've ever tried to be sure - but for an everyday mascara I prefer something not too dramatic so this is just the right amount!

When I look at a picture of my eyes closed like this, if I don't feel the need to run for a lash comb, that's when I know I have a good mascara!

Deca Professional Cosmetics

Deca Cosmetics is a premium quality brand of natural mineral based cosmetics meant for both the professional makeup artist as well everyday makeup lovers! Tinted Moisturizer - $32.50 - an oil-free sheer tint that moisturizes - with aloe vera and vitamins E & C, protects - with natural sunscreen (titanium dioxide) and offers a sheer tint of colour - use it alone if you only want a natural look or use it as a base under your foundation or powder - comes in dark, medium and light

Dual Foundation - $28.50 - can be applied wet - for a dewy finish or dry - for a smooth matte finish or used with a brush as a finishing powder - all offer an impeccable, long-lasting finish and excellent coverage that is oil-free and water resistant - comes in pale ivory, warm beige, beige ochre, rich beige, light sunset, forever beige, canvas beige, cafe latte, chestnut and rich coffee

Oil Free Liquid Foundation - $27.50 - an easy to apply, lightweight foundation that provides a smooth, even coverage that dries quickly to a matte finish - comes in coffee brown, perfect brown, golden brown, almond, sun gold, beige porcelain, light porcelain, deep porcelain and rose porcelain

Concealer & Eyeshadow Base - $18.50 -  lifts dark shadows, evens out skin tone and covers up minor break-outs on the skin - it can aslo be used as an eyeshadow base to give greater staying power and depth of eyeshadow colour - comes in dark, tan, medium and light

Retractable Eye Pencil - $12.50 - for a long lasting, precise application in a retractable pencil with a smudger on the other end - come in teal, me, blue ice, penny, gold shimmer, khaki, regal plum, perfect grey, rich navy, dark chocolate and black magic

Liquid Eyeliner - $18.50 - offers waterproof, long lasting wear with a flexible felt tip applicator - comes in black, brown, teal and denim 

Retractable Brow Pencil - $12.50 - for a smooth, easy to blend application in a retractable pencil with a brow brush on the other end - comes in auburn, dark brown, medium brown, light brown and taupe
