Fragrant Friday - Justin Bieber The Key

In between random acts of stupidity and douche-baggery our boy Justin has unlocked the next chapter in his fragrance empire with -

Justin Bieber The Key - 100ml EDP - $70, 50ml EDP - $60, 200ml Touchable Body Lotion - $27.50, 150ml Swept Away Hair Mist - $22 -  a luminous fruity floral musk fragrance with top notes of juicy mandarin, crisp pear, boysenberry and sweet osmanthus blossoms; heart notes of pink jasmine, water lily and peach nectar; and base notes of luminous musks, precious woods, vanilla and a touch of raspberry cream.

As demented as the Bieb is acting these days I have to say that I really like the fruity-sweetness of his new fragrance as well as the inspiring message behind it which is about believing in yourself, your dreams and of course that someday you and Justin will get married and have 2.5 kids and all that stuff...(well maybe not that bit so much...)

Gifts fit for a tween from Justin Bieber, Lord & Cliff, Goody and IMuffs!

Those who know nothing will tell you that Justin is totally out now - but judging from the number of young girls I still see throwing their arms around and taking pictures with (and apparently trying to steal) the life sized cutout of the Beib at Shoppers Drug Mart, I'm going to conclude that they have no idea what they are talking about - this will still be a much appreciated gift!

I've had one of the more permanent ones in and these clip in deals are a much better idea - this is the kind of thing that is much better for a day or special occassion! Goody Ouchless Lover Gift Set - $9.99 - with barrettes and clips, tons of elastics and a headband - none of which will do that painful pulling deal that many accessories do! The headband is my particular favorite, the tips flex so that you can adjust them to not dig into your head or ears, genius!

Speakers seem to come in everything these days, clothes, rocks, pillows, it seems that people can not stand to be without their music anywhere! At least these will serve a useful purpose while their driving your tween slowly deaf...

Nicole by OPI - Justin Bieber One Less Lonely Girl Collection - Canadian Star, Coral Denominator and Top of My World swatches!

Whether or not you like the idea of wearing Justin Bieber on your fingers, you can't argue that the boy has good taste in colours, the whole line is gorgeous!  Here are three that I love from the Justin Bieber One Less Lonely Girl collection:

Canadian Star - I love this one so much, I have never seen anything similar too it and this picture does not do justice to how sparkly it is!

Canadian Star with Top of My World on top - this isn't the best colour to showcase it over, Top of My World is basically clear with a lot of blue/purple sparkle to it - if you look close you can see the extra sparkle it adds.

Coral Denominator - another super sparkly colour - this would be a gorgeous summer pedicure colour too!

Coral Denominator with Top of My World on top - you can see some purple sparkles but again, I think Top of My World would best be showcased over a non-sparkle polish - I had just run out of fingers here!

My husband insists that it would be super dirty cougar of me to discuss doing anything with Justin Bieber other than wearing him on my fingernails - he's such a killjoy!

I'm starting to worry about this Justin Bieber character, I mean he seems just a little too interested in nail polish - this is phase 3 of the One Less Lonely Girl Collection after all! Whatever his motivation, I'm just happy to see all the pretty colours!

Justin Bieber touched my hands this weekend - okay fine, his nail polish did - Nicole by OPI - Give Me the First Dance and Me + Blue swatches!

From the Nicole by OPI Justin Bieber One Less Lonely Girl collection -Give Me the First Dance and Me + Blue have a new perfect stroke brush which is really wide.  Not sure if it is just for this collection or if all the new Nicole by OPI polishes will have it as these are the newest polishes I have from them.  I wasn't sure if I would like a brush that wide but it actually made applying this polish very easy so I was pleased with it.

 

You can see that they are super sparkly - especially the blue!  The only thing I don't love about the blue is that even with a top coat the surface still feels rough, I think because the blue is more sparkle and the silver is more foil - I would recommend both of these if you can still find them!

Surprisingly, nail polish is an easy gift to give, especially in funky colours - it's easy to tell if someone likes to wear polish or not!  Remember you will only find these at Shoppers now and everywhere else in February.

While you are at Shoppers, swing by the travel size section - you can fill up a small clear plastic makeup bag to give to people you know travel or go to the gym.  I like this gift idea because it's good for the guys too and you can spend as much or as little as you want and still get a decent amount of items.  I like these TRESemmé Moisture Rich Shampoo & Conditioner - 89ml - $1.59 each, oh and little deodorants are great too, unless it's someone in the office known to be smelly, then it just comes off kind of passive aggressive...
