This week I'm obsessed with... Chanel shoes from The RealReal!

Love the idea of designer clothes and accessories but not the idea of paying full price or trying to figure out which are the real from fake ones on eBay?

Enter The RealReal -  an online luxury consignment website with over 600 employees and multiple locations across the United States that accept and ship product worldwide. They take the guesswork out of online luxury shopping by ensuring that every piece on their site is 100% the real thing thanks to a dedicated team of authentication experts, horologists and gemologists who  know exactly how to tell real from counterfeit, from the quality of the leather to the zipper manufacturer.

I've always coveted a pair of Chanel shoes and I'm currently in love with these black suede Chanel round-toe pumps with embroidered interlocking CC accents at magenta suede cap-toes, quilted panels at platforms, covered heels and tonal stitching throughout - and for $460 I wouldn't have to feel super guilty about them especially if I consider how I'm saving the environment by helping to recycle! I need to make a decision though, I was looking at a different pair of shoes this morning but by the time I came back to write this post, they were already sold!

What's great is they actually have all of the items in their possession, the pictures are of the actual item you are buying and any wear is described so you know exactly what you are getting. Have luxury items to sell? Let them do all the work and collect 85% of the selling price, not a bad deal!

Check out The RealReal for yourself at therealreal.com and satisfy your own Chanel obsession or your Gucci obsession for that matter or any one of the numerous other high end brands!

Kate Moss Topshop Spring/Summer 2014 Collection

Kate Moss and Topshop are excited to soon be launching their spring/summer 2014 collection, an eclectic mix of pieces encapsulating the British fashion icon's unique and revered vintage style.

Key design categories for this collection begin with Balearic Dressing, a reflection of Kate's love for the Balearic Islands comes a series of carefully embroidered smock-tops; silk blouses and a white kaftan that is based on a vintage find she wears every summer. The bold Aztecs dress has a handmade feel and the heavily embroidered crochet lace dresses, which either skim the thigh or the ankle, are available in cream or black.
Pajama Dressing adds a totally new element to the Kate Moss Topshop range. Silk satin sourced in London's Soho carries two distinct prints: a subtle, distorted floral design and a vivid Oriental-inspired flower pattern. Both prints will be available in high-waisted trousers, blouses and an ultimate pajama coat.
Cocktail Hour is flirtatious and sexy with hemlines either slashed at the thigh or falling to the floor. The intentional vintage effects, opulent trims and detailing such as cobweb beadwork, sequin bead fringing and crepe satin splicing, all provide a delicate and deluxe element to the designs.
Tailoring Noir introduces a beautiful selection of tailoring including tuxes and trouser suits in black and black gold metallic mixes, a bias cut liquid metallic lame dress and lame floral printed shirts - offering a chic, smart alternative to dressing up for a summer evening.
Kate's growing up as a designer is reflected in this more premium collection with the use of luxurious fabrics, including silk chiffons sourced in London Soho, gold lame from Italy and intricate lace from India. Also upping the luxury quota is the meticulous attention spent on trimmings and details, including hand stitching and beading.

This collection is available April 30th exclusively at Hudson’s Bay at all Topshop stores, Topshop capsules and 13 additional locations for a total of 25 locations across Canada - as well, the full assortment will also be available online. Find a full list of store locations as well as a behind the scenes video featuring Kate Moss at - thebay.com/katemosstopshop - with additional videos to come!

Banana Republic inspired by Anna Karenina for Holiday 2012!

You may have hear that their a movie version of Anna Karenia coming your way this fall and nothing goes better with a epic 19th century love story then a holiday capsule collection inspired by the luxurious fashions!

Banana Republic has one coming your way curated by twice-Academy Award-nominated Anna Karenina costume designer Jacqueline Durran. Designed by Banana Republic, it is inspired by the film and re-imagined through a modern fashion lens.

Encouraging a return to elegance evocative of the era of Anna Karenina, the capsule features modern pieces for men and women, including polished, feminine looks for her and tailored styles for him. Reflective of the film’s high-society period, the capsule presents a modern-day collection including alluring embellishments, luxe fabrics, and romantic styles.
The Banana Republic Anna Karenina collection includes statement accessories and apparel fashioned with velvet, faux fur, lace, and a touch of sparkle that embody the style of the era. Working alongside Kneen, Durran pulled a selection of her favourites from the collection, which would become the capsule. These looks were most reflective of the film’s aesthetic, whether representative of a specific character personality or a modern translation of one of the film’s elegant costume pieces.
Let me tell you, I haven't looked forward to a Banana Republic collection so much since Mad Men! All the fur touches are making me drool and I just love everything about the outfit above!

The Banana Republic Anna Karenina collection launches exclusively at Banana Republic North America retail locations and online in late October, building up to the much-anticipated movie debut this November.

Versace for H&M is the key to Canada's hatred of Toronto!

Did you hear about the poll released yesterday that suggests that Canada dislikes Toronto - and that it is in fact the least-liked city in all of the country? Funnily enough, most of the negative feelings came from provinces west of Ontario. The social pundits can float all the theories they want on the subject but I've figured out the crux of the issue - it all comes down to Versace for H&M and that 3 of the 5 stores that going to have the line next Saturday are right here in Toronto - having seen the collection in person this week, all I can say is I don't blame you for hating us for that!

If the brash Versace of the late 80's is the one you loved with its bright colours and crazy prints then are you in for a treat! I have never been tempted to line up for one of these H&M special designer deals before but I have to say, this line is so amazing and incredibly affordable you just might find me in line with you come the big day!

Which pieces do I have my eye on? Here's a few I'm loving:

Pink studded silk dress - $199, Leather necklace - $59.99, Black studded bag - $149

Black silk dress - $179, Black suede boots - $179, Black studded bag - $149
Black silk dress - $179, Necklace - $59.95, Black studded bag - $149
Yellow studded silk dress - $199, Bracelets - $34.95, Bag - $199
Now these aren't actually clothes I long for but they are just so quintessentially Versace and pretty to look at!
Print sequin dress - $149, Necklace - $59.95
Print silk bustier - $149, Print trousers - $79.95, Pink leather shoes - $149
There is also a men's line and I was relieved to find out that there is a suit for my husband to match my new pink dress!
Pink blazer - $179, Pink pants - $69.95, Pink shirt - $59.95, Pink leather shoes - $129
The launch date of the 43 piece collection is Saturday, November 19th and will be in store at the Pacific Centre in Vancouver, Downtown Montreal. In Toronto, you will find it at The Toronto Eaton Centre, Bloor Street West and Yorkdale Mall. These 3 stores will open at 8am and be issuing coloured wrist bands to people in the lineup that will allow them 10 minutes to shop in the store and to purchase 2 items of each style.

If you aren't one of the lucky ones in a city that will stock it in-store, I understand that the collection will also be offered online - it should be interesting to see how fast it will all disappear!
Will anyone be joining me in line? I'll bring the snacks!
