Playtex Gentle Glide has a Twitter contest going on with a $1,000 gift care prize - all you have to do is tweet advice you were given when you first got your period to @PlaytexGG using #PlayOn (within the 140 character limit). Your first tweet each day will count as an entry towards the grand prize of a $1,000 cash gift certificate. 

The contest starts today -  Monday October 22^nd at 9:00am and ends on Thursday November 22^nd at 5:00pm. Throughout the duration of the contest, the @PlaytexGG handle will be sharing interesting facts and myths about that time of the month, and each Wednesday we have giveaways for our followers too!

Damn Heels was once a brilliant idea, after a fun night out of dancing, that grew into a collection of fabulous flats inspired by high heels with a great name!  For one week only, from October 22^nd to 26^th, Damn Heels will hit the road in partnership with smart Canada. With scheduled daily pit stops (from Dundas Square and Liberty Village, to Queen West and Bay Street), the holiday collection will be sold out of the trunk of a car... well, more like a white 2013 smart fortwo coupé. 

For holiday 2012, the Damn Glamorous collection features shoes designed to look like a corset. The two-tone detail in front elongates the foot and leg, and shows off a hint of flirty toe cleavage. The sides skim lower ending in a beautiful lace detail in the back. The result is the look of a heeled foot, with the feel of a flat. 

Each pair unfolds to reveal a hot pink lining, and the soles are embossed with the signature Damn Heels logo. They come in a clutch that makes it perfect for gift giving. The set is $55 each, and sizes range from 6-10 in three different colours (Black Diamonds, Champagne Gold and Gunmetal Glitz).

Secret locations of the Damn Heels mobile pop-up shop will be announced daily via Twitter - http://twitter.com/damnheels and Facebook - http://www.facebook.com/damnheels. Promotional giveaways will be planned on-site and one dollar will be donated to Rethink Breast Cancer for every pair sold.
