I'm a big fan of a smoky eye for fall and even though I know it's a trend this season, I just can't bring myself to sport a smoky eye with a bold lip - it's a good look on a model, not on me! A shiny nude lip is what you'll see with my smoky eye with and here are a few lips that I will be wearing this season:

Gloss On Lip Gloss - $10 - part of the summer Hamptons collection, this might be a bit of a tease because it's not technically available anymore so bug your Avon lady to see if she has any left over stock - but I had to show you the Cabana shade because it is the most perfect shimmery nude peach that is my go-to shade to match with a smoky eye!

With the smokey eye/bold lip trend-- something with a taupe gray tone works better for me. I find MAC Copperplate more subtle, but it still works with the darker lipstick shades.
