First stop was the Essentials Lounge - always one of my favourites - with a setup so nice that it's impossible to take a bad picture.... except I did - for some reason when I got home all of my pictures were pink. Was I in a wonderful world where suddenly everything is pink...?
Sadly no, I'm just a moron who can't operate what is supposed to be a simple camera - so thank heavens for Ryan Emberley who took all of these lovely photos and allowed me to use them!
Pink photos certainly would have worked for the adorable Cake Beauty Smart car!
And would also have been fine for Cake Beauty Satin Sugar Infused Texturizing Beach Spray which adds texture and volume to hair without drying it out or making it feel hard and crunchy the way beach sprays usually do! For more info visit cakebeauty.com.
I then sniffed and admired the many fragrances from the Clarins Fragrance group including Azzaro's newest fragrance for women - Azzaro Pour Elle Eau de Parfum with a floral woody amber scent - full review to come soon! More info on on the fragrances can be found at clarins.ca.
Security eventually had to pry my grubby little fingers off the Dior Holiday Collection's display - so glamorous and this doesn't even show the shadow palette or the gold highlighter brick which is going to have to be seen to be believed (my apologies to whoever had to clean up the drool)! More lustworthy Dior beauty can be found at dior.com.
I was then introduced to magic underwear from Knixwear - that are seamlessly constructed with high performance fabrics that take care of moisture and odour and offer a choice of gusset technology that do wonderful things like be absorbent, leak resistant and have moisture lock sides! Check out knixwear.com for more info.
SkinCeuticals was offering much-needed peels and an intro to their newest product - Metacell B3 - $110 - a silky emulsion to correct early signs of photoaging - by strengthening skin's moisture barrier, renewing skin by increasing cell turnover, reducing localized discolouration, decreasing diffuse redness, boosting hydration volume and enhancing skin's firmness. Find more info at skinceuticals.com/canada.
All that TIFF walking was made bearable with a stylish pair of Saucony kicks (that's what the kids still say right?) in Jazz Original and Shadow Original styles - both offering comfort, support and a lot of style. You still don't have my permission to wear them with a pair of socks and your dress or suit for the hike from the Go train to the office (horrible, horrible - please invest in a cute pair of walking flats and stop doing that!) - but with shorts, jeans or even a casual skirt - adorable! You can score a pair of your own from $80-$90 - find more info at saucony.ca.
It was nice to see the familiar face of Kosmea - their Facial Cleansing Wipes might be the only thing that will be able to take this day off - while the Hydrating Rosewater Mist is just what I needed on a hot day of running around!
Parched loungers were treated to a nice cold Vitamin Water in your choice of flavour and zero-ness (although personally I think the world is getting a little weird when water needs to be zero...) All will be explained at vitaminwatercanada.ca.
But let's be honest, I just came for the donuts - Krispy Kreme wonderfulness - mmmmmmmmmmm! Their delicious website can be found at www.krispykreme.ca.
It's a rough life but somehow I make it through...
