I wanted something a little more discreet like Selena's so I choose a single strand in an orange colour that would blend with my hair. It took less than 5 minutes to attach the only thing I'm not crazy about is the small lump that I now have where they attached it. I have to be careful when I comb it and sometimes when I touch my hair and feel it I forget it's there and think I have a scab on my head! I'm not sure what would happen to it when I coloured my hair so I wrapped it in tin foil to protect it which worked just fine.
To remove it I can wait for it to work itself out, go back to the salon to have it taken out or because it's attached to such a small amount of hair, if I get sick of it, I could just cut it out.
Lots of places are doing them - mine was done by: Donato Salon + Spa - $15 per feather - $10 installation (up to 3 feathers). They use sheUSA by socap hair feathers if that means anything to you.

You know, I'm not a fan of this trend. But I do find that the more it blends in with your natural hair colour, like how you did here, the cuter it looks.
ReplyDeleteOh admit it Arianne, you just think I'm cute in general! Actually I had it in when you saw me a couple of weeks ago and you didn't even notice it!

I was downtown at Adrenaline a couple days ago and I saw a girl working there with the feather extensions in her bangs and i loved it!!! I love the "louder" feathers, but this subtle one is lovely as well, it's more versatile for everyday life!!!
ReplyDeleteStylist Megan West is rockin a feather extension right now! She loves it!!
