It works
with a unique C-Phyte+ Complex, which contains Vitamins C and E to brighten and
even skin tone and helps boost natural collagen production to improve the
appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. This powerful complex is enriched with
Fruit, Scutellaria Baicalensis Root , Apple and Cucumber Extracts to brighten
and smooth skin and reduce inflammation, which is a cause of hyperpigmentation.
And a patent-pending botanical extract enhances the natural radiance of the
skin.
Along with Hyaluronic Acid for intense hydration. It can be worn
alone or under foundation for additional coverage. What I'm liking about CC creams oppossed to BB's is that they do seem to offer more coverage - whereas a BB cream generally offers sheer coverage, CC's are more light to medium and buildable which is especially great for trouble spots - in my case around my nose and chin where my skin tends to be more red. I use a night product to even skin tone you'll appreciate that this CC does some of the work during the day and has an excellent SPF factor to keep the dark spots from coming back! And while I appreciate the SPF, I suspect it's what's giving this product a strange scent - it's not offensive but I do notice it!
Available now at Murale, Sephora and sephora.ca.

I picked up a sample of the Smashbox CC cream last month at Sephora and I have used it nearly every day since then and I LOVE it! I will definitely be purchasing a tube when I get through the samples. It is perfect for "mature" skin, I'm 42 and this works beautifully for my needs. The coverage is great and it looks like "skin"...it's a natural satin finish on me. The one tip I would give your readers is to be careful about choosing their shade, ask for a sample first because I find it does oxidize on the skin slightly. I am normally a Light/Med. in most lines but I went down a shade (to Light) in the Smashbox CC line. I am generally an NC 20-25. Thanks for the review! Best, Lisa
