The extension really is great and it does add some volume with minimal clumping - I think because of the comb aspect of the brush which eliminates clumps as you apply it! It is a little tricky to get the hang of - I found it easiest to apply one coat normally and then apply the second coat with the comb part of the brush - which adds a bit more mascara but mostly just smooths everything thing out!
