2009 Sexiest Man Alive - Johnny Depp - In other breaking news... water is wet!

In their infinite wisdom, People Magazine has declared Johnny Depp The Sexiest Man Alive for 2009.  No arguments from me!  I have loved Johnny since his 21 Jump Street days when he had a very different look.  I continued to love him through some very quirky roles;  Edward Scissorhands, Benny & Joon, What's Eating Gilbert Grape and Charlie & the Chocolate Factory.  But of course it was Johnny as a pirate that really did/does it for me.  Not since Vince Neil in the early 90's has a man rocked black eyeliner so hard!  And have you ever noticed that when Johnny's not making a movie you never hear anything about him?  He is not on the cover of every tabloid or the subject of gossip, he is just a guy (allbeit an incredibly hot guy) who happens to act for a living!  For all of this and just being an all around awesome person, kudos to you Johnny Depp!  And I see on IMDB that you have 6 films in the works - can't wait!
