Dior black sequins does not make me happy. I applied it Sunday night (with a good base and top coat of course) and by last night there were chips on 4 of my nails. Annoyed, I filled in the chipped parts and reapplied my top coat to all of my nails. I wake up this morning and there are 3 more chips. WTH??!! Dior chips even when you are just sleeping? Now that's talent! And not because I am bitter or anything but the colour is nothing to get excited about either. It looks better in the bottle then on your fingers. I don't see any of the sparkle, it just looks like regular black polish. Very disappointing! Back to Sephora you go Dior polish - I probably normally wouldn't bother but for $24 you betcha it's going back! And if nothing else, you just saved me another $24 and killed my lemming for the Silver Purple... I never thought I would find a polish that was as sucky as MAC's but Dior, I think you just might be it!

Lisamarie, try a different base and top coat! Or try two coats of your regular base coat and see if that helps - usually does the trick with my difficult polishes. And Silver Purple is quite pretty...

I was just getting past Silver Purple and you have to make me all hopeful again! ;-) Black sequins is going back because I just don't find it interesting enough to put that much effort into making it stay but maybe I should just trade it for the Silver Purple...hmmmmm. It really does annoy me to have to do so much work to make an expensive polish stay when there are $4 Sally Hansen one's that last a week with zero effort.
