Sensitive skin no longer needs to be a giant pain thanks to La Roche-Posay Toleriane Ultra - it's free of preservatives
(which are what most people are allergic to), parabens,
fragrance, colourants, alcohol, and lanolin. It's able to be preservative free because of its unique
packaging technology - a hermetic airtight packaging, so no preservatives are required to keep the product stable. As well, it has an active soothing ingredient “Neurosensine” that
minimizes skin sensitivity and reactivity.

I scrub my skin dry after I shower. I stay away from products because they can itch or have a smell that is too 'perfume-y' and causes a headache. And I cant afford to risk buying something that might be useless, only to have to buy something else! But I need a moisturizer... I 'flake' or 'molt' even after exfoliating; hence, the scrub down with a towel afterward.

My skin has changed over the years & I now have to be more careful with what I use on it. I have been trying to use products that are fragrance free or contain known irritants..it's been a process of trial & error for sure.

ReplyDeleteCombo skin...with eczema flare-ups. Hell. So I use a gentle gel cleanser, and apply lotion moisturizer morning and nights. I only exfoliate 1x a week. If I do it more often my eczema gets worse. Like I said hell.

Ahh I have the worst sensitive skin ever. I read labels all the time and tend to go for brands that I know have never caused a reaction in my skin. I also avoid anything with higher than spf15 because they make my face puff up and turn red :(
