Put a powder to work for you - Annabelle, Physicians Formula and Sephora!

Want powder and coverage?

Annabelle BB Compact Makeup - $15.95 -  a paraben and perfume free satiny lightweight powder foundation that glides over the skin for a perfectly even skin tone and radiant finish. With buildable coverage that doesn't look cakey thanks to the nifty double-sided sponge with a plush velvet side for extreme softness and a luminous finish and a sponge side for more coverage.

The powder is part of a new BB range - the BB Cream in light/medium is too dark for me so I was expecting the same problem with the powder but it is actually not a bad match - maybe a touch too dark but not dramatically so! I like how lightweight it feels and how it adds coverage without looking mask-like - if you prefer to apply your foundation with a brush rather than a sponge I find a kabuki brush works great with it for a flawless looking application!

Also available in the line: BB Cream Multi-Action Beauty Balm SPF 15 - 40ml - $15.95; BB Skin Perfect Concealer - $12.95 - a medium to high coverage concealer that camouflages imperfections and leaves skin glowing with renewed radiance; and BB Skin Retouch Crayon - $12.95 - a double-ended miracle crayon that erases fine lines and signs of fatigue to leave the skin looking visibly renewed.
Want to powder and perfect?

Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Talc-Free Mineral Airbrushing Pressed Powder - $19.99 -  in 2 shades: Translucent and Creamy Natural - an ultra-fine, mineral pressed powder made especially for sensitive, breakout-prone skin that delivers impeccable coverage for a flawless, smooth and silky finish.

With a non-comedogenic, fragrance and paraben free and hypoallergenic formula the helps to visibly reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, pores and other skin imperfections as well as deliver good-for-your-skin benefits with soothing plant extracts, nourishing vitamins C & E and beneficial anti-oxidant ingredients: Chamomile, Ginseng, Gingko Biloba and Green Tea.

Want powder and a glow?

Sephora Microsmooth Bronzer Duo - $23 - in two shades: Honey Heat - shimmering brown sugar/matte medium brown and Spicy Heat - shimmering copper tan/matte warm toasted almond - offers a natural glow  with a combination of fine pigments that are carefully blended, infused with spring mineral water, shaped by hand, and then slowly cooked to achieve a unique, airy texture that effortlessly blends. The result is a flawless, no-makeup look and feel that wears comfortably day into night. Perfect as a finishing powder or worn alone, the pure, micronized pigments are so small that your complexion won’t look or feel cakey.

Available at Sephora and sephora.com.

  1. I think every woman can not live without cosmetics. Even you are a natural beauty, you don't mind to be more beautiful with some cosmetics, such as powder.

  2. i got a free sample of the annabelle bbcream what a steaming pile of you know what. it looked like i had spotty plastic skin, or maybe that texture of a dead person's skin. would not buy that for 15 bucks, and it was also the most yellow-toned face product i have ever seen, when i tried to rub it in a little more vigorously to not look plastic is turned a complete coverage yellow color. no thanks annabelle, love you liners though!
