Even on days when I sleep in and am rushing to get myself out the door a little bit of eye highlighter is one thing I never miss.  There is nothing like it to make you look more awake and your eyes wider, brighter and younger then this very simple step!


It Cosmetics Brow Power Lift - $24 - Illuminating Pencil with Hydrolyzed Collagen and Vitamins A,C & E - has a matte or pearl option to give you a more lifted look -  It's easy to use, just apply and then lightly blend in with fingers.  It's natural looking, soft and invisible to the eye, but attracts light to the area both above and below your eyebrows, creating a more lifted, youthful look. It can also be used around the inner and outer corners of the eye for instant brightening.

If your looking for a cheaper option, try the Revlon ColorStay Brow Enhancer - $11.49 - tinted wax stick for the brows on one end and a highlighter for brightening on the other - comes in 4 colour combos although most of the places I've looked only seem to carry a couple of them: blonde/gold; light brown/champagne; medium brown/soft pink;blackened brown/taupe.

And of course if you want a really frugal option - you can perform the same magic with a light pink or yellow eyeshadow, I find ones that have a tiny bit of shimmer to them have the most flattering effect - the colour that works best for you will depend on your skin colour so experiment a bit to see what works for you!
