NARS Spring 2011 swatches - Nana and Angelika lip glosses and Celebrate Soft Touch Shadow Pencil

My favorite items from the NARS Spring 2011 collection were the Nana and Angelika lip glosses and the Celebrate Soft Touch Shadow Pencil. On to the swatches!
Nana Lip Gloss - how amazing is the shine on this one!  Even my husband who does not take much notice of all of my makeuping was impressed with how shiny it looks!  This is on its own and it can also be worn over other colours to amp up the intensity.
Angelika Lip Gloss - I bought the Angelika blush when it came out and love the colour so I was pleased to see they have done the same colour in the gloss.  I probably wouldn't wear them together though, that would be a little too matchy-matchy.

I'm very pleased with both the glosses, they look good and feel good too, not sticky or too thick!
Celebrate Soft Touch Shadow Pencil - I like how easy it is to apply but I definitely need to wear a base under it, as you can see in the bottom left hand picture - the liner creased within minutes!  And don't be scared of how green it looks in the pencil, even as pale as I am, it's not at all overwhelming. Please excuse the different eyelashes, I was doing mascara testing at the same time!

  3. Those NARS Shadow pencils crease no matter what. Not worth the money! The Urban Decay ones are way better, or even he Annabelle Smoothie ones.

  4. I bought Angelique while I was in NYC and have been wearing it ever since. I think I am also going to pick up the Bateau Ivre eyeshadow duo.
