Blush goes liquid! Yves Saint Laurent Voile de Blush Coral Veil and Clarins Instant Light Vitamin Pink swatches!

Looking to add something new to your blush routine for spring? Why not ditch your usual powder and go all crazy and liquid!
Yves Saint Laurent Spring 2012 Candy Collection has a trio of water-based gel blushes worth checking out - here's what the Voile de Blush in No 2 Coral Veil looks like - 1 coat on the right side and 2 on the left hand side - as you can see, neither side is dramatic looking at all, it just adds a light coral flush with a matte finish. What's really neat about it though is how cool it feels going on - it will feel great on a hot day! I did try layering it further so you could get a better idea of the shade but with this particular colour anyhow, I wasn't really able to do more than 2 layers without the colour looking streaky so this won't be a good choice for you if you like a dramatic look!
The Clarins Colour Breeze Spring 2012 Collection has a pair of blushes that build like crazy! Here is the Instant Light Blush in Vitamin Pink - with one coat on the right - nice and subtle, 2 coats on the left - gives a beautiful rosy flush with a satin finish! The bottle comes with a foam topped applicator, much like a lipgloss and it takes only the tiniest amount for max results so this one bottle is going to last me ages!
