Luckily, Make Up For Ever Managing Academy Educator, Jen Evans, has my back and has shared her pro tips for creating a fresh, romantic spring look by adding a subtle pop of colour to your lids with pastels.
Here's her simple 4-step eye technique:
Step 1: Apply a nude eye shadow from the upper lash line to the crease.
Step 2: Using an eye shadow brush like Make Up For Ever’s #10S, sweep your favorite pastel eye shadow from the inner to outer corner of the eye, extending just above the crease while leaving the
outer corner open.
Step 3 (optional): Apply a pop of pastel to the outer corner of the lower lash line for a more colorful, playful pop.
Step 4: Apply two coats of your favorite mascara, such as Make Up For Ever Smoky Lash.
Use any of the above pastel colours which range from subtle to more vibrant to create an eye-opening and brightening look. Jen is absolutely right, I've been playing around with her suggested look and not only is this technique easy, it looks stunning! Also note, if you like a monochromatic look, any of the MUFE shadows can double as blushes and any of their blushers can be used as a shadow!

I am usually hopeless at any kind of bright or colored shadow application, and have been wearing either a smoky eye or a wash of champagne-ey glitter for years. Maybe I'll give it another try, thanks!
