Revlon PhotoReady Compact Makeup SPF 20 - $19.99 - in 8 shades - this reminds me of the Almay Nearly Naked compact - I haven't seen it around lately so I'm not sure if they still make it - but it has the same sort of touch screen. I like that it has a high SPF and I also quite like the texture - of course the only tester they had was way too dark for me so I didn't try it anywhere except my hand - anyone tried this one and want to share your experience?
Almay One Coat Dial Up Mascara - $11.99 - Available in blackest black, balck and black-brown. Has an adjustable dial that allows you to control the level of lash fullness with 3 settings: 1-full, 2-fuller, 3-fullest with an Non-clumping, hypoallergenic and good for contact lens wearers.
It will be interesting to see how much staying power they have. I always have a terrible time with cream eyeshadows creasing on me!

the loreal base looks tempting, can't wait for your review on it!
ReplyDeleteGood stuff!
ReplyDeleteI came across your blog today and I love it:)
Interesting new items! I'm looking forward to your review on the L'oreal base. The dial up mascara is intriguing too, to be able to control the level of lash fullness? I wonder how that works.
ReplyDeleteThe primer review will be coming next week! Not sure how that mascara would work - would love to hear from anyone who has tried it!

Just found your blog! I'm in the U.S. and I just today saw the Revlon Photoready compact makeup at CVS. How do you like it?
ReplyDeleteThankfully for my wallet I don't actually buy all the products that I talk about in the New and Notable posts! So I haven't tried it, but I did use the Alway one that seems to be the same kind of deal - it was okay but I did find it a bit thick for my taste.

Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love the Revlon PhotoReady Compact Makeup. It covers beautifully without being to thick or greasy. The problem is I think they quit selling it because I can't find it anywhere.
