Now we know there are a million creams out there so why should you consider the SkinGenX line? Here are some things that make them different from some of the other skincare companies: all of their products contain ingredients that are backed up by actual published studies; they don't do the annoying marketing hypes and don't use terms that aren't regulated by the FDA such as "all natural" or "hypoallergenic" as they believe that in most cases they are deliberately used to deceive consumers; they are a small company and customer service is a priority; they won't try and sell you something that they wouldn't use themselves or on their families (in this case I am assuming they like their families); they are a socially aware company and don't just talk the talk - their products have eco-friendly packaging and they are involved in programs to help disadvantaged communities around the world, as well, a portion of their profits are donated to various non-profit organizations; and they have pledged to never use unsafe or potentially toxic ingredients in their products.
But don't take my word for it, win one for yourself so you can try it out! Up for grabs is a full sized bottle of the Anti-Wrinkle CompleX along with a 100% natural and handmade silk scarf from Turkey. Total prize value is $185! Want in? This contest is open to US and Canadian residents. All you have to do is join Beauty Crazed as a follower if you aren't one already. You can either do it through Google or through Networked Blogs on Facebook - you can find both signups on the right hand side of the Beauty Crazed site. Once you belong to our crazy family just leave a reply to this post letting us know your feelings on natural skincare products. If you give the contest link a tweet and/or post it on your blog, there's an extra entry in it for you! Also, if you follow SkinGenX on Facebook or Twitter there is another entry in it for you for each one. Including an e-mail address would be extra helpful and you can write it like this - info(at)beautycrazed(dot)ca - so the bots can't find you but we can. If you prefer not to leave your info on a public post, please leave a post saying you want to enter and then e-mail us your info - info@beautycrazed.ca, please put "SkinGenX Contest" in the subject line. Winner to be decided by random drawing and you have until September 10th to enter.

ReplyDeleteI'm still unsure about "all natural" products since often natural ingredients can cause reactions more than synthetic. Also, it's difficult for an all natural product to feel nice or even smell nice without the help of other ingredients. I think if there is a nice balance between synthetic and natural then this is a good compromise.
I like all natural products, but hate the companies that claim to have them, and then you look at their ingredients.. first one is sulfate. Whaaat?
ReplyDeleteBut its a really great idea, and I think we could use WAY less synthetic ingredients (but then again, I want them to work still!)

I like the idea of natural however a lot of natural products that are out there contain ingredients which are natural but are irritants to the skin.
ReplyDeleteA great contest! I would love to try this product! Sounds awesome!
ReplyDeleteIt's certainly a nice concept of being natural, being nice to your skin but it's also hard to swallow the higher price :)
ReplyDeletejuan_hurrican(at)yahoo.com
We still have to be careful about products that claim to be ALL NATURAL. That being said I would love to win this product. I am at the age where I would consider surgery or botox.
ReplyDeleteI would really like to try since I notice more wrinkles after turning 41

ReplyDeleteSince a realy bad rash this summer, I discover that I'm allergic to something in regular products. So I need natural products now, and to be honest I prefer them after trying some natural brands: kiehls and boscia particulary.

ReplyDeleteI try to buy natural skincare products when I can but I find there are ones that just don't seem to work as well..especially facial cleansers. I also sometimes find they're cost-prohibitive unless I make my own with recipes on the internet.

ReplyDeleteSkinGenX is backedup by published studies which is a BIG + nowadays and can make a difference when I purchase some new brand. All natural ingredients is another + up there for me.

I am guardedly optimistic. I see a lot of newer companies popping up, specifically geared toward natural or green products. And I really do hope that besides their understandable desire to make a profit, that they also do have the integrity to also manufacture a safe and useful product. Instead of all of the years that the cosmetic companies have churned out numerous products that didn't perform or contained unsafe ingredients or even worse both.
But sometimes you really have to wonder. I saw a natural beauty product that was claiming to be all natural, safe and vegan approved. One of the ingredients was sea cucumber, which may sound like a vegetable to put in your salads, but in reality is a marine animal. So either they were knowing mis-representing their product or almost more scary, they had absolutely no idea about their product ingredients or it's origins.
But on the lighter side, I love to try new products, and especially natural ones. And I'd love to try this one. Thanks for the chance!
