These
Hot Rocks from
Pür Minerals ($23.50) are in fact pressed, micronized minerals which I use as a blush. They look so pretty, you
almost don't want to use them! I didn't exactly follow the applications instructions, but I did brush the rocks, drawing a circle, with my makeup brush to get different shades all at once. The depth of this powder is quite interesting: the multiple shades of pink and gold undertone definitely give me a light pink, almost peachy glow. As most mineral powders, it's also light and gentle on your skin. While I loved the rocks as a blush on my dark complexion, this is probably not a shade I would use as an eyeshadow. It's a matter of taste, I guess.
I paired the Hot Rocks with this
Pür Minerals Pout Plumping lip gloss (Spiced Barite, $16). I liked the texture of this gloss: it's not too transparent, you actually get coverage and color without stickiness. You do not need to use too much of this gloss as a little goes a long way (if you do use too much, it will feel sticky). How about the pout plumping effect? The texture and shimmer make my lips look fuller but don't expect a huge difference, it's only a lip gloss, ladies...
Pür Minerals is available at
The Shopping Channel and select Shoppers Drugmart in Canada.

I like Pür Minerals Pout Plumping. I also used that. It is really different to other product for lips.
