And so you'll be in the know when you guys chat about the HydraSmart line, here the rundown:
HydraSmart's claim to fame is 3D hydration technology - what is that you ask? It's hydration that is fast - skin's water holding capacity is improved by 16% after only 5 minutes; deep - water level is stabilized in the deepest epidermal layer; and long term - moisture level still increases after 7 days. The line also contains blue lotus extract, a powerful antioxidant that helps to protect skin against free radicals.
The line contains products suitable for dry skin as well as normal and combination skin:
Cleansing Gelee for Dry Skin - 150ml - $24 - soap and paraben free. This is a fun product that reminds me a lot of the Clarins Pure Melt Cleansing Gel - it starts as a gel, turns into an oil when massaged on the skin and then creamy when you add water. It does an excellent job of removing makeup, feels nice on the skin and rises away without leaving residue. I don't have dry skin but I like something richer in the evening to get rid of makeup and wash away the day - this does a great job!
3D Hydration Cream - 50ml - $40 - with a formula enriched with ultra moisturizing peptides it virtually drenches dry skin in moisture and restores skin's ability to instantly capture and hold water non-stop for 24 hours. It has a blend of active ingredients exclusive to Lise Watier which includes: biosaccharides, sodium hyaluronate, glycerine and she butter as well a complex that repairs skin's natural barrier to help to prevent moisture from evaporating and of course blue lotus extract to protect skin against free radicals. It has a light and non greasy texture and a delicate floral scent.
3D Hydration Self-Foaming Cleanser For Normal and Combination Skin - 150ml - $24 - soap and paraben free. Enriched with antioxidant blue lotus extract and moisturizing peptides, it gently removes makeup and impurities leaving kin cleansed, fresh and invigorated. This is something I would definitely try for a morning cleanser, it seems very light and I like the pump bottle.
3D Hydration Gel-Cream - 50ml - $40 - alcohol and paraben free - moisture without the greasy or sticky feel that is ideal for normal to combination skin types. Has the same formula as the cream without the she butter and it has a floral-fruity scent. I love a gel-cream so I am going to have to try this one out, keep an eye out for a review coming soon.
What I am really appreciating about the HydraSmart creams is that they are both refillable - the empty inner cup can be recycled and replaced by a refill cup!
