This week I'm obsessed with... L'Oréal Professionnel Mythic Oil!

L'Oréal Professionnel Mythic Oil - 125ml - $24 - if you have also been looking for a little help for your summer heat-fried hair then you will be happy to know that this will do the trick!

Enriched with a blend of silicones and two beauty oils: Avocado Oil - known for its nourishing powers and rich in Vitamins A, B1, B2 and D; and Grape Seed Oil - a highly potent anti-oxidant that penetrates quickly, nourishes deeply and powerfully and is extremely lightweight.

It reduces blow-drying time, seals split ends, protects from frizz, instantly detangles and leaves hair supple, soft, tamed and intensely shiny. I especially like that it can be used on wet or dry hair and it does an excellent job of controlling my frizzies without being heavy or greasy!

If you really want to kick-start your Mythic Oil experience you can get a Mythic Blow-Dry at the salon which offers your hair long lasting hold, perfectly defined movement and ultimate shine. Here's what's involved:
1) Prep: Your hairdresser will prep your hair with the appropriate shampoo and treatment according to
your hair’s needs.
2) Infuse: Hair is blast dried until 80% dry, then 1 to 2 drops of Mythic Oil will be applied from lengths to ends.
3) Blow-Dry: Hair is blow-dried section-by-section. When each section is dry, it is rolled around then brush and locked onto the head like a roller. Another brush is then used to dry the following section. The roll / lock technique is continued around the whole head.
4) Seal: Once the final section is dried, the look is set with cold air.
5) Finish: Finally, the look is finished with a further 1-2 drops of Mythic Oil for an added shine boost.

Find the oil or the service at your local L'Oréal Professionnel salon!

  1. I think they named it appropriately! I have to try this! It sounds lovely and just what my unhappy tresses need. Any chance it'll hit mainstream salons/beauty stores or is this a L'Oréal Professionnel salon exclusive?

  2. i was thinking of getting that when i went to the salon, but since i bought too many kerastase products, i skipped on the mythic oil. now im regretting it :(
