Mascara Monday - Maybelline Illegal Length Fiber Extensions Mascara

Maybelline Illegal Length Fiber Extensions Mascara - 9.99 - in 3 washable shades: very black, blackest black and brownish black as well as 2 waterproof shades: blackest black and very black - with an innovative new formula that contains 4mm black fibers which stretch lashes longer than ever before. To also help with the lash building, it has a patented sealing formula - which stretches the lashes securely depositing fibers to each lash and a fiber-fix brush - with six different contact points with each lash for optimal fiber placement.
I love a lengthening mascara and this is a nice one - it goes on easily with no flaking and as you can see it gives nice length and definition.
It will give a bit of curl if you twist the brush when applying as you can see on the right.
This isn't the best length I've ever gotten out of a mascara but I think it's the best I've ever gotten out of one costing less than $10 - or even $20 for that matter... if you like a lengthening mascara, this one is worth a try!

    I have to say, the whole black, blackest black, blackety black black thing baffles me - how can something be blacker than black - black is black right? If we are going by cosmetic company logic though I guess blackest black would be blacker than very black - I think blackest trumps very! ;-)

    thanks for the review. i love their stiletto mascara so when i saw that this closely resembled it, i couldn't wait to try but then someone said that it is a very natural looking mascara so i backtracked a bit. but now that i saw your review, i think i have to try it !
