I test lots of products, especially hair products and in between testing periods I end up going back to my favourites, one of which is:
Matrix Total Results Color Care Shampoo & Conditioner - 300ml - $15 - solves the challenges of dull, dry, color-treated hair with Fade Guard Technology containing Vitamin E and Sunflower Oil to help protect against fading and extends the life of your colour vibrancy. Shampoo gently cleanses away dulling residue as it renews moisture and helps strengthen porous hair for totally brilliant colour and shine that lasts. Conditioner moisturizes and nourishes to help strengthen porous hair.
While I agree that you can find many good hair products at the drugstore, there is just something about salon ones that just feel luxurious - the smell, the texture, the lather - it's the little things that make me happy during my morning shower!
With this Matrix pair, I really have seen a difference in how much longer my colour lasts when I use them in comparison when I am using products that aren't designed especially for colour treated hair. And I really can't complain about the price - $15 for a salon quality shampoo or conditioner is amazing in my book!
You can find a salon location to procure your very own at www.matrixcanada.ca

I might have to try this! $15 isn't too bad, considering it's a salon product!
ReplyDeletefound them here! http://www.fruugocanada.com/search/?category=WS02050000&departmentId=WS02000000&hitsPerPage=50&fp=brands%3AMatrix#searchResult

My go-to is strawberry.net - so between these 2 I think the deals are pretty good, def beats Tradesecrets prices! Strawberry has a increasing (tier) discount system too, I'm at 7.5% now! :) and always free shipping!
ReplyDeleteI'll admit that I'm not much of a bargain hunter and don't order stuff on line very often that I can find in a retail store - I have this problem with instant gratification... ;-)

haha I have that too :) that's why I try to avoid stores like Tradesecrets because I always need (read WANT) something :)
ReplyDeletebut I cannot resist picking extra shampoo's/treatements @ Winners, cos everything is so cheap!
be careful at Winners - they seem to have lots of counterfeit beauty products - mostly seems to be fragrance but I wouldn't be surprised to know some of the hair stuff is fake too!

really?? I purchased 3-4 perfumes from there :S is there a way to check?
ReplyDeleteYou'll know if the smell is really off obviously - it depends how good a fake it is - I figured it out one time because the bottle was totally different then the one they were selling at other stores - came to find out they had never made the shape of bottle they were selling at Winners. If you compare the outside packaging to another one you can sometimes see differences too - the fake ones don't tend to put all of the details, embossed printing on the box, that kind of thing. Not all the fragrances are fakes, so don't freak - but I've had 1, my friend has had 1 and I've heard other accounts of fakes so just be mindful!

yikes! I bought the perfumes I have tried/smelled before so I have been okey! I got Vera Wang's Preppy Princess, Jessica Simpson's Fantasy & one of the Harajaku Lovers' perfume as well. But good to know :\
