Teenflo Spring 2011 - February Collection

February's collection explores the secrets of the desert.  Tribal, bold prints or neutral tones to create the distinctly urban style. Navy was very prominent this season and is a chic alternative to the traditional black. The key hues are a desert palette of sand, grey and ivory, infused with a pop of chili and the fabrics are triacetate, printed cotton, chic linen, lace overlay, denim, printed silk and classic wool-silk suiting.  Here are my favourite pieces:

Playboy and Guess Seductive for a lusty Valentine's Day!

Looking for something a little saucy for V-Day then the bunny is always a good choice!  Newly launched in the most adorable bottles - although I am ashamed to admit that it took me a minute to figure out the silver dot on the bottle in the eye - they confused me by putting the bow tie under the ears so I was thinking the eye was a belly button... I know, it's a good thing I'm cute...

It's about time that Playboy came out with a women's fragrance!  I noticed that the men's fragrance a few months back came with a GWP that was a pack of Playboy playing cards.  I would like to recommend that Playboy does a version for us - Firemen maybe?  That's one card game that you just couldn't lose at!

 

 If you didn't get it from the name - Guess Seductive - you sure do from the ad, this stuff screams sex!  I really love the scent - it has top notes of Bergamot, Blackcurrant and crispy Pear; a heart of Orange Flower, exotic touches of Jasmine and precious Florentine Orris, a legendary note harvested in Florence and used in perfumery for centuries to seduce the senses. At the base is warm Vanilla and spicy Olibanum, finished with the musky essence of Cashmere Wood.   Available in:

More spring makeup love - this time from Clarins!  The collection is soft and pretty and so my style!

Blush Prodige Illuminating Cheek Colour - $32 - I have never been a huge fan of Clarins blushes, previously they pretty much bored me but I am changing my tune with their new blushes which are part of the permanent collection.  Each blush has four complementary shades which you can wear alone or swirl together: 01 Lovely Rose, 02 Soft Peach, 03 Miami Pink, 04 Sunset Coral, 05 Rose Wood or 06 Spiced Mocha.  I will be adding one or two of these to my collection for sure!

Rouge Hydra Nude Soothing Cream Lipstick SPF6 - $26 - Limited Edition - a nourishing, moisturizing, smooth cream lipstick in radiant nude tones: 01 Nude Rose, 02 Nude Coral, 03 Nude Beige, 04 Nude Caramel - I had a chance to swatch these on the weekend and love the colours and texture!

Perfect Shine Sheer Lipstick - $27 - you may remember these from last year and if you were sad when they went away you can be happy that they are now part of the permanent collection!  In three shades: 12 Litchi, 13 Cherry, 14 Grape - they look shockingly bright in the tube but actually go on very sheer and shiny!

Something new from NARS - Velvet Gloss Lip Pencils!

Loving the smoky, sexy feel of Dior Spring!  Grey eyes and pink lips are one of my favourite combos so I am all over this collection!

Sephora by OPI swatches - Slushied and Domestic Goddess!

I was excited to get my hands on a colour from the Sephora by OPI Glee collection - Slushied and since I had another hand available for swatching here's a colour from the regular collection - Domestic Goddess.  Both colours are opaque and gave total coverage with 2 coats.
