This week I'm obsessed with... NARS All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation!

NARS is big on the benefits of applying foundation with your fingers: less product is wasted and the heat from the skin is beneficial to helping the foundation apply evenly - if that works for you, go for it but there is nothing that is going to separate me from my foundation brush! The other helpful tip is to start by applying foundation in the center of the face and spread it outwards. I've always started at the outside and worked my way in but starting in the middle makes a lot more sense as I need more coverage around my nose, eyes and mouth and when I work from the outside in, I'm running out of foundation by the time I get to the places I need it the most! I'm not usually a fan of long-wear foundations finding them thick and cakey looking but this one really is super-light and feels like nothing on my face. I still have to wear a primer with it - long-wear of not, my face eats foundation - but with a primer under it, it easily lasts me all day!

Take the stress out of holiday shopping with Murale!
