This week I'm obsessed with... Puma by Alexander McQueen!

Would you have guessed that I'm a sneaker wearing kind of girl? Not real athletic type sneakers of course but rather what my husband calls "faux" sneakers - no running ever happens in them I assure you! Most of my sneaker wardrobe consists of Puma's because they always seem to have the cutest styles and colours - and my latest addition is:

Puma Alexander McQueen Antagonia Low - $160 - with light grey buck suede uppers and pig-skin lining - they also come in black and I have heard they come in pink as well but I haven't been able to find those ones! I get a bit of a pink fix though even with my grey ones - they have pink soles, the inside of the tongue is pink and come with an extra pair of laces in pink!

Find them at The Bay and online at thebay.com.

Beauty Crazed goes on the Leah Miller SYTYCDC dress watch!

We love it when you e-mail us but hate not knowing the answer to your questions - and I noticed that we were getting a lot of e-mails about Leah Miller, more specifically, what she was wearing on So You Think You Can Dance Canada, and that fell into the category of things we just didn't know!  So we set out to find someone who would be able to answer all of your burning questions and not only did the lovely Erika at CTV get me all the info on her past outfits, but she also offered to keep us updated going forward - so watch this space for your Leah Miller fashion fix!

We know that you are also loving her makeup and of course as the new face of Lise Watier, that is what she wears!

Alexander McQueen Has Passed Away

This is not the type of post I enjoy writing and much has already been said today about Alexander McQueen's talent, one of my favorite designers, and his tragic passing. So instead I'll let you enjoy a few pictures from his 2010 collections. Hopefully, his latest collection will still be shown, as planned, at the next Paris Fashion Week. I also wonder what is Lady Gaga going to wear now?

Be Careful What You Wish For: The Curse of the 12-inch Heels

"Oh my little beauties, how I want to take you home right now"...That's what I would usually say whenever I see a pair of sky high heels.  I would wear high heels, all day, every day, if I could, just like your favorite local Mariah Carey clone (but less crazy and more bitchy). I can routinely wear 4 or even 5-inch pumps and walk to the subway without difficulty.

I usually love McQueen's designs, but THIS? What is THIS, Mr. Alexander McQueen? 12 inches? What am I ? An expensive Drag Queen Hooker? How can I even glide from my -rented- limo to my decrepit apartment building? Do I need to hire a personal assistant to carry me around too? I'm just a woman (albeit an awesome one) . I can't wear this!

I understand these shoes have fairly high platforms but they are so high that you could lose your balance very easily. So, in my view, they are even dangerous. Not the same danger as Lisamarie's cooking, but you could end up in hospital, just the same.

I read a while ago that the crazy high heels trend would go away. Well, it has not gone anywhere. In fact, it's still lingering around like the roaches in my building. Still there, even when you think they are gone.

On top of all that, these designs are not particularly attractive, they look like shoes for special needs, you know, in all seriousness. With growing sparkly fungus. Eek.

I say: high heels, yes. Stilts, no!
