If you've looked at the Cover FX line before but found it confusing picking a shade, you'll be happy to know that the shade system is now easier to follow, is inclusive of all skintones and comes in 24 shades - with each shade scientifically 3% darker than the previous shade in the series.
To find your match just decide on your underlying skintone: pink, neutral or golden; and from that series pick the perfect shade:
P = Pink: P20 - fair to light, P30 - light to medium, P40 - medium, P50 - medium to tan;
N = Neutral (equal parts pink and golden): N10 - porcelain to light, N20 - fair to light, N25 - light, N30 - light to medium, N35 - medium light, N40 - medium, N50 - medium to tan, N60 - medium-deep, N70 - medium to deeply tanned, N80 - deep medium, N90 - dark to deep, N100 - deep, N110 - deepest, rich ebony
G = Golden: G20 - fair to light, G30 - light to medium, G40 - medium, G50 - medium to tan, G60 - medium-deep, G70 - medium to deeply tanned, G80 - deep medium.
The lower the number, the lighter the shade. If you aren't sure what your undertone is, start with the N series - if the shade looks too Pink, find your shade in the Golden undertones. If the shade looks too Yellow, find your shade in the Pink undertones.

You can use it with a powder sponge or puff but I find apply it like that shifts my foundation around too much so I prefer applying even my loose powder with a brush - Make Up For Ever has a lovely powder kabuki brush but it doesn't have a cover so for traveling with it, I prefer the Lise Watier retractable powder brush which is perfect for tossing in your bag and keeping it mess-free.
