Fragrant Friday - L'Occitane x Pierre Hermé - Jasmine-Immortelle-Neroli and Grapefruit-Rhubarb

The L’Occitane x Pierre Hermé Collection has arrived for the holidays - inspired by a 20 year friendship between L’Occitane founder Olivier Baussan and pasty chef Pierre Hermé, and their mutual love of Corsica. They both revel in the sensory world and share a love and expertise of fine, authentic ingredients so collaborating on a fragrance was a natural progression. Baussan designed all the vibrant packaging while Hermé was responsible for creating two powerful scents using his nose and knack for bringing unique and unexpected ingredients together.

Jasmine-Immortelle-Neroli - 75ml EDT - $65, 250ml Body Lotion - $32, 250ml Shower Gel - $22, 30ml Hand Cream - $12 - a floral and feminine fragrance for women with top notes of petit grain, pink pepper and lemon; heart notes of jasmine, immortelle, neroli and orange blossom; and base notes of amber, white wood and musk.

Grapefruit-Rhubarb - 75ml EDT - $65, 250ml Body Lotion - $32, 250ml Shower Gel - $22, 30ml Hand Cream - $12 -a soft, subtle unisex fragrance with top notes of grapefruit, rhubarb, lemon and cypress; heart notes of clove, nutmeg and lavandin; and base notes of cedar and vetiver.

I just love this fragrance - grapefruit is one of my favourite scents and the rhubarb makes it extra tart (which just makes me happy) while the spice notes add a exotic sweetness to it that keeps it from being overly fruity.

Also available in both scents is a Gift Set - $80 - including a full size EDT, Shower Gel, Body Lotion and 50g Soap and a Travel Set - $26 - which includes a 30ml Hand Cream, 12ml Lip Gloss and 50g Soap.

You can feel especially good when buying a gift set, with the purchase of one of these, or any L'Occitane gift set, $10 from the sale (up to $120,000) will go to Dress for Success, a great charity which helps outfit women in need for job interviews.

Available now in L'Occitane boutiques across Canada and online at on ca.loccitane.com.

  1. I love the idea of this. I'll have to check it out sometime. Grapefruit is my favourite perfume scent too.
