Gone but not forgotten - take 2 - products I have loved and lost and what I am ready to love (again)!

If you caught my post back in the summer about all my fave makeup products that had joined the great empties graveyard and what I have replaced them with - you might have been wondering why I only ever use up makeup - not true! Especially these days when I actually wear precious little makeup and spend a lot more time and product on everything else! This is what has gone into the recycling bin lately - and you can really tell from the cut up tubes how much a really liked these products, desperate to get every last drop out!

Jowae Soothing Cleansing Milk - an end of the day must have for getting rid of makeup and the rest of the day off my skin!
Vichy Neovadiol Compensating Complex Densifying and Replenishing Serum - yes it's technically for menopausal women but I liked the feel of it so much that I just kept using it after receiving it to try!
Schwarzkopf Soft Glam Smooth Polish Elixir - this is the only thing that has been going in my hair these days and I will miss it's frizz busting magic!
Bath & Body Works Snowy Citrus Swirl Ultra Shea Body Cream - from the 2019 holiday collection that Santa was nice enough to leave in my stocking and it really just smells so good!
Soap & Glory Heel Genius Foot Cream - a must have for my super-dry tootsies!

And when I do use something up I see if I have anything new to try or rummage through the vaults where I keep anything that I tested already and liked enough to keep - and this is what I will be replacing the empties with:

Indeed Labs Hydraluron Cream Cleanser - 100ml - $19.99 - with a luxurious, gentle foaming formula that deeply cleanses to remove all traces of makeup while still keeping skin balanced and perfectly hydrated with hyaluronic acid teamed with a coconut-derived surfactant, papaya enzymes and hibiscus flower acids to help keep skin clean, soft and bright. Available at Shoppers Drug Mart stores across Canada and online at indeedlabs.com.
The cold weather is another excuse to move to a new moisturizer - my combination skin prefers a serum over a cream so I am sticking with Vichy but changing to something that will be more moisturizing for winter: Vichy Mineral 89 Fortifying and Hydrating Daily Skin Booster - 50ml - $41.95 - with a powerful formula that hydrates, plumps and fortifies skin to protect against daily aggressors such as pollution, stress, fatigue and cold weather.  Available at drugstores across Canada and online at vichy.ca. And if you can still find one, I highly recommend the Mineral 89 Fortifying Recovery Mask that was available for a limited time during the summer - it's a mask you mix yourself and it feels heavenly!
And since I haven't touched a hair dryer in months it makes sense to start using something that will work with the whole air-drying thing: OGX Active Beauty Green Tea Fitness Air Dry Cream - 177ml - $10.99 - infused with rich in antioxidant green tea and refreshing lotus to keep hair feeling, looking and smelling fresh while adding healthy-looking frizz-free shine with no heat while adding lasting moisture. Available at drug and mass retailers across Canada.
I would totally buy Snowy Citrus Swirl again but it doesn't appear to be one of the holiday offerings this year so this is going on my Christmas list instead - Bath & Body Works Snowy Peach Berry Ultra Shea Body Cream - 226g - $15.50 - described as a sparkling, fruity blend of snow-kissed cranberries, frosted peach blossom & shimmering woods - which is right up my alley! Stay tuned for more info on what Bath & Body Works has coming for the holidays in 2020!
After an intensive hunt I found that I didn't have any more foot cream to either review or stashed away  but I did find this: basd Invigorating Body Lotion in Mint - 450ml - $24.99 - it's an excellent body moisturizer that smells like mint which, in my mind, also makes it the perfect foot cream! Available at select health food stores across Canada and online at basdbodycare.ca. I won't be using it for a couple of weeks because I just used a Grace & Stella Dr. Pedicure Foot Exfoliating Mask last night and you aren't supposed to moisturize while it's doing it's thing - if you've never done a foot peel before I highly recommend it - it's wonderfully, disgustingly satisfying!
