We're giving away all the things that will make you want to kiss more including new balms from Polysporin and champagne! Contest!

According to a recent Canadian kissing survey (that's right I said kissing survey), dry, chapped lips are preventing us from doing as much kissing as we would like to!

Luckily, Polysporin has a couple of easy, new solutions for your kissing issues with Visible Lip Health Daily Hydration Therapy and Visible Lip Health Overnight Renewal Therapy - $5.99 each - both offer a unique combination of antioxidants and essential lipids that restore visibly healthier lips in just 3 days and offer all day (or night) moisture.

Of course we want to help you and a friend do all the kissing you want with an amazing prize pack from Polysporin that will not only soften up your lips with your very own Visible Lip Health Daily Hydration Therapy and Visible Lip Health Overnight Renewal Therapy products but also get you in the mood for lots of smooching with a bottle of Veuve Cliquot and some champagne flutes (in case you'd rather drink it out of a glass rather then pouring it all over each other - but you do what you like, we don't judge...). Want in? Then read on...

This contest is open to all our Canadian followers (over the age of 19 because of the booze) and it's very easy to enter, just leave a comment letting us know that you follow through Google Friend Connect or Facebook Networked Blogs (if you aren't a follower you can do that now - sign up buttons are in the right sidebar).

1 entry for following and answering the question - What is your favourite/most memorable on-screen kiss? Please also leave your e-mail so we can find you if you win!

And for an extra entries:
Follow @BeautyCrazedCan on Twitter and tweet the contest.
Follow @PolysporinCA on Twitter and tweet the contest.

If you prefer not to leave your info on a public post, please leave a post saying you want to enter with your answer to the question and then e-mail your info to info@beautycrazed.ca, please put "Polysporin Contest" in the subject line. Remember to leave the post or your name won't actually end up in the draw! Winner to be decided by random drawing and you have until January 11th to enter. Good Luck!

This week I'm obsessed with... Polysporin Visible Lip Health Overnight Renewal Therapy!

I have a lip dryness problem at the best of times and winter certainly wouldn't be one of those best times so keeping them hydrated is a constant struggle! It's not too bad during the day when my gloss keeps them fairly moist but overnight is more of a problem. I don't know if it's that the air in my house is especially dry, if I'm a dreaded mouth-breather or if my lips just hate me but I have a hard time finding a product to wear on my lips at night that will absorb quickly enough that it doesn't all rub off on the pillow as I sleep but isn't so waxy that I wake up with a gross film on my lips - that is until I discovered:

Polysporin Visible Lip Health Overnight Renewal Therapy - 7.7g - $5.99 - with an emollient and vitamin enriched formula that replenishes essential lipids to repair and nourish your lips with moisture while you sleep and is clinically shown to restore visibly healthier lips in just 3 nights!

With a light fruity scent (but no taste, otherwise I tend to lick it all off) and a soft, creamy formula that soaks right in, it is just what my dry night lips were looking for!

Available now at drug, grocery and mass retailers across Canada.

Cold sore solutions from Polysporin and Thursday Plantation!

You can never truly appreciate just how horrible cold sores are unless you are one of the unlucky ones who get them! I do - so I am always on the lookout for new ways to deal and how excited was I to hear about this new product - Polysporin Cold Sore Healing Patch - 15 patches - $18.99 - not only does it help the cold sore heal, it masks it! This means you can wear makeup over it for even more concealment!

Other benefits of the patch are it helps prevent scabbing, relieves pain, deduces tingling, itching and burning, reduces redness and swelling and protects sore from contamination but really, I'm still stuck on being able to wear lipstick on top to hide the stupid thing!

I won't go so far as to say that I'm hoping for a cold sore to come on so I can test them out but at least when I do get one it will be slightly less horrible to deal with now!

Available at food, drug and mass merchandisers and if you want a $5 off coupon you can go here to score one: http://polysporin.ca/en/coupon.asp

I have the usual prescription medication for cold sores which is good for healing but doesn't do a damn thing for the itching and burning aspect so I've always done a layering thing with products and used something on top of it that offers a cooling benefit. The one I loved most was Mentholatum Natural Ice Healer but them they stopped selling it in Cananda and now it seems they've stopped making the product altogether so I had to find an alternative which I have found in:

Thursday Plantation Tea Tree Cold Sore Cream - 10g - $6 - using the powerful antibacterial and antiviral properties of 100% pure tea tree oil it provides soothing relief to cold sore, sun blisters and chapped lips naturally while helping to prevent and heal cold sores.

This one feels great on thanks to the camphor in it that cools the lips but if you are looking for more of a straight moisturizer and don't need the cold sore or chapped lip relief, you might prefer their regular lip balm which has tea tree oil with shea butter.

Available at Shoppers Drug Mart, Rexall/Pharmaplus, Whole Foods, Loblaws and select health food stores across Canada or online at www.abundancenaturally.com.
